Eleonora Sgura

Eleonora is an italian artist. In 2017 she fell in love with the dry pastel technique.
She was fascinated by its delicate touch and intensity of color pigment, which allow to create soft shades giving to the painting a velvet touch. She dedicated herself entirely to this technique to reproduce portraits and life scenes in her art. She portrays faces of people who intrigue her sensibility making her want to highlight the beauty of a face through a deep observation and translation of an emotion, using photography as a support.
Portraying is an adventure, it is the translation on canvas of a state of mind through expression, it is giving life to a feeling. Her painting aims to represent the journey of life, she describes it as her source of serenity, balance and beauty, which enables her to dive through her emotions and create. These, she says, are the emotions she wants to convey to her observer.
She has recently exposed in 2018 across different cities of Italy.
