Marc Todd
Marc is an acclaimed English artist. His studio is located in the historic town of Bath, England.
Marc has a degree in Fine Arts. After his studies he held the role of art director in the well-known London communication agencies Saatchi & Saatchi, Ogilvy & Mather and J Walter Thompson. Marc defines his style Contemporary Impressionism, working with color and light, with structures and signs to create dynamic and engaging images that stand out for their uniqueness.
This type of painting is used to create vibrant countryside landscapes and cityscapes for which Marc is gaining international fame.
Although countryside and city landscapes are very different themes, Marc manages to create a visual synergy between the two through painting, used to communicate a sense of constant dynamism in each of the environments.
His unmistakable style centers on the intelligent use of color and the subtle application of structure. Marc has developed a variety of techniques for applying paint with unique tools, such as sponges, wooden sticks and Lego constructions. With the brushes he rarely uses, his magnificent paintings capture the fast pace of city life and the natural movement of the forest.
