Origin: Monforte d'Alba, Langhe, Piedmont
Grapes: barbera
Harvest: 2nd decade of September
Vinification: maceration with the skins for 10 days at 28 °
Aging: in 500 / 700l barrels for 16 months
Bottling: 24 months after the harvest
Storage: bottle laid down, away from light and sudden changes in temperature
Average life: 8-10 years
Smell: very intense, hints of red fruits, black cherry, blackberries and tobacco
Color: intense ruby red tending to garnet with aging
Taste: warm, soft, very persistent and with good flavor and excellent longevity
Food pairing: meats, main courses, excellent with fillet

Production area
These wines are all produced in Monforte d’Alba, an area famous for the production of wines with structure and elegance. The limestone soils give us wines of great longevity, with bottles that can be kept for many years.
